Regional Media Database/Het Regiobestand

Agencies that have to deal with local and regional newspapers and advertisers with a national dealer network, such as car importers, are familiar with the problem: how to plan using local and regional media? Het Media Instituut has developed the Regional Media Database, especially for these companies.

What is Regional Media Database?
The Regional Media Database is a software program with information about all regional and local media that appear in the Netherlands. The system contains information about newspapers and door-to-door journals, local and regional radio and television channels, and the distribution of national and regional newspapers by town. Combinations for several titles are included, and it's easy to find out which council, province, Cebuco or Nielsen area a certain town is part of.

How does the Regional Media Database work?

The Regional Media Database stores circulation, rates, issue dates and phone numbers. Also information such as percentage households within an area receiving the medium, percentage of the circulation of a medium that appears within an area, cost per thousand and the composition of advertising combinations are available. The information can be requested in various ways, so it's easy to get an answer. For example: 'which media appear in Grootebroek?', 'in what towns does this title appear?' and 'which editions does het Vecht Journaal have?'.
The Regional Media Database contains information about approximately 1000 media, and is updated regularly.

The benefits of the Regional Media Database in short:
